Board games.

Our resident Board Game expert is Susan Quilty. Susan says "My name is Susan Quilty and I'm the Board Games Channel Manager. The Crafts channel.

Representing Helium in the Craft Channel as Channel Manager is Trenna Sue Hiller.  Trenna is not a perfectionist. Perhaps that is why crafts work for her. They don't have to perfect just functional and maybe cute. She often finds as she is going through the craft channel she has to stop and make something or try something that she has learned about. It makes for an interesting journey. She lives in the mountains and seems fairly content to visit the cities for short trips. Her home, however will always on a mountain somewhere. Send her an email. She just might be lonely.

Beading and Jewelry Making

Carol Rucker says her greatest creative accomplishment was building a jewelry making program at Cincinnati's Sarah Center. She brings her expertise in that area to the Beading and Jewelry Making channel as manager.

Craft Painting

Andrea Theisson manages the Craft Paint channel. Primarily a landscape painter, her work has been collected internationally. She teaches tapestry, history of architecture, college-level textiles and creativity courses and has written and/or edited several books, including Other Gettysburg Addresses and Ike- Gettysburg's Gentleman Farmer, as well as worked as an editorial assistant and proofreader for magazines and publishers. Andrea has also worked as a curator, a librarian, in museums and painted murals. She brings a wealth of painting knowledge to the Helium community.

Holiday Crafts

The Holiday Crafts channel is managed by stay-at-home mom Dorann Winbush. She  became interested in writing early on in childhood and also enjoys digital scrapbookling.

The Scrapbooking and Paper Crafts channel is managed by Helium writer Shawna Blake.

Heading up Yarn and Needle Crafts is channel manager Maria C. Collins. In her own words Maria has "passion and fascination with words and language." Her interests also include history, cookery, travel, law and antiques.

Christina Mendoza's early love of the written word led to her making her own books and becoming a contributor to her high school and law school newspapers. This passion, along with her interest in crafts are what led to her becoming the manager for the Crafts "Other" channel.

Kid's Games and Toys.

Who better than an expert mom to deal with this area of the site.  Joan Collins makes a great addition to the team. Joan Collins is a teacher, a mom and a grandmother. With years of experience with children, she is the Kid's Toys and Games Channel Manager. With a love of writing, she would like to encourage all Helium writers with an interest in children to join her and write in this channel. She is also willing to answer any questions you may have.

Role Playing and War Games channel.

My name is Michael. I am a 33 year old part time writer living in Pittsburgh, PA.  After a lengthy college education at Carnegie Mellon University, during which I changed my major once and considered changing it another half dozen times, I had little sense of what I wanted to do with my life upon graduation.  By pure chance, I found Helium at a time when I was consistently writing for myself.  This find proved serendipitous, as I realized that I had a passion for writing.  I am still finding my exact niche in the profession, but I believe it is what I would like to spend my life doing.
